The 1940
Chief Front Fender, is a one-year-only fender. Indian used
a flat-sided skirt on this model in their first year of the full skirted
or valanced style. Also new in 1940 was the new spring frame. These
two major design changes added a new look and beauty to an already
classic style from the 1930's.

Chief Rear Fender. In 1940 Indian introduced the new spring
frame and new full skirted fenders. We reproduce these faithfully
to the style and dimensions that are correct for this introductory
year.

Chief Sidecar Fender Complementing the fully skirted
fender design on the new Spring Frame model introduced in 1940, we
have a full skirted sidecar fender. This fender includes all the mounting
bracketry, pre-installed, along with wire clips to wire your running
light and taillight. This fender is virtually ready to fit. Also available
in a left hand application for those who drive on the other side of
the road!
