Starting-Out

Before you get to far into your restoration it's always a good idea to make sure your frame and front end are straight. There is nothing worse than to discover after your bike is put together that your front and rear wheels are not aiming at the same point on the compass. If your frame and front end are straight and if you have most of the major components of your bike then it's a good idea to start dry assembling these parts to the frame. Even if your engine isn't complete you may also want to see if it fits in your frame. This can save a lot of paint.
